DESCRIPTION: The aecia are bright orange in colour and occur on branches, leaf undersides and any remaining hips. Late in the year black spots or raised areas will appear and contain the teliospores. SPORES: Aeciospores coarsely echinulate with large pores. Teliospores are stalked, 4 - 5 septate and black. HABITAT: On stem and leaves of various Rose bushes. SEASON: Frequent. May to August.
